This season, Roseanna is teaming up with La Botte Gardiane, a brand with exceptional expertise, certified
“Living heritage company”, to create an exclusive model of Camargue boots made in France. Founded in the heart of the Camargue at the end of the 1950s, La Botte Gardiane manufactures all its pieces in the south of France, in a workshop located in Aigues-Vives between Nîmes and Montpellier.

Old and new models rub shoulders, functional products that age well, that can be repaired if maintained. La Botte Gardiane does not manufacture work boots or sandals, but rather travel and road companions.

Roseanna imagines an urban version of the iconic "Gardian" model, with a removable metallic strap signature of the Roseanna house, the silhouette is elongated with a specific heel height. The fruit of this collaboration is the "CHIPS" boot, a boot for walking the streets and riding bikes.

KNOW-HOW

The manufacture of a boot is the result of an 18-step artisanal process. The black leather is a greasy leather that comes from the Haas tannery. Located in Alsace, this tannery offers leathers mainly from French calfskin raised in Aveyron. Suede leather is a double-sided full-grain leather from the Spanish tannery Dercosa, a specialist in suede leather.

In its manufacturing process, this leather is tanned twice with a vegetable finish to provide a natural rendering of the dyes. Thanks to its thickness, the oiled leather withstands water and acquires great flexibility year after year. The boots acquire a patina and become more beautiful over time, without ever hardening or cracking. La Botte Gardiane selects high-quality leathers that become softer and more beautiful over time.
