SIGNIFICANT COMMITMENTS FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW

COMMITTED SINCE DAY ONE.

WE'RE TAKING IT A STEP FURTHER.

HOW ?

BY FOLLOWING THROUGH ON AN AMBITIOUS CSR (CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY) PLAN, THAT CLARIFIES :

▶ Our vendor relationships.
▶ Our sustainable production.
▶ Our logistics.
▶ Our solidarity-based initiatives.
▶ Our day-to-day actions.

CHOOSE WHAT REALLY MATTERS

WE PREFER :

▶ Confidently working with a select number of partners.
▶ Durable alternatives.
▶ Quality materials sourced from responsible locations.
▶ Vintage furniture for our stores.

OUR VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS

We’re learning more about ourselves everyday, by questioning our level 1, 2 and 3
suppliers, in order work together towards achieving common goals. We’re committing to :

▶ Drafting a list of specifications, that includes a code of conduct, to be clear about our
expectations with regards to environmental, social and traceability standards.
▶ Building strong relationships through regular visits to our factories and with other
suppliers.

OUR SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION

Introducing durable alternatives as a permanent part of our collections, and selecting the
right materials to minimize our impact.

▶ Liquidate any excess inventory or fabric by donating to non-profits, schools and capsule collections based on the ideas of recycling and reusing.
▶ Work closely with the Leather Working Group, the global organization specialized in regulating and certifying tanneries worldwide.
▶ Explore plant-based alternatives to traditional tanning methods, and incorporate them into our collections.
▶Implement durable denim production. Specifically, abandoning the use of pumice stones, sodium hypochlorite, and potassium permanganate most commonly used in denim washing.
▶ Source organic, and/or recycled fabrics and more sustainable printing techniques.

OUR LOGISTICS

From sampling, to production, with logistics in between, we must examine every part of our value-chain.

▶ Use only recyclable, sustainable packaging for online orders, shopping bags, and shoeboxes.
▶ Ban the use of plastic polybags.
▶ Use hangers made from recycled plastic during the shipment of our collections.
▶ Work with sustainable and environmentally conscious freight forwarders and
couriers.

OUR SOLIDARITY-BASED INITITIVES

▶ Offer to all of our customers the opportunity to give back at check-out, through a partnership with French organization, UN RIEN C’EST TOUT. They work closely with four important causes : childhood development, environmental protection, education, and healthcare.
▶ Dedicate one day a year to helping our community.

BEING CONCIOUS ALSO MEANS APPLYING THESE VALUES TO OUR EVERYDAY

▶ Biking to work, or carpooling, if possible. Reduce and offset the carbon footprint of business trips.
▶ Turning on our computers every morning, and turning them off every night.
▶ Double checking the office, and turning off the photocopy machine, coffee maker, lights, and unplug computer and phone chargers.
▶ Using a water fountain to fill up reusable bottles, as opposed to single-use plastic ones.
▶ Recycling as much at work as we do at home, and replacing personal garbage cans with personal recycling bins to decrease the amount of trash we produce. Using recycled paper only, and making an effort to print as little as possible.
▶ Managing our data. Favor USB flash drives or WeTransfer, neither of which store data long-term. Unsubscribing from newsletters that we don’t read regularly, and clear our inboxes every few days. Changing our habits, and using more socially responsible search engines.
